AOC Valais
Born on the shores of Lake Geneva at the end of the 18th century, Chasselas has been the most popular grape variety in Switzerland for generations.
Slow maceration over 5 weeks gently extracts the tannins, colour and structure of this red wine. This speciality is matured for 12 months in 400-litre barrels (50% new, 50% 2nd passage) during which the second fermentation takes place.
Dress : Yellow with green highlights
Nose : Notes of gunflint, fragrances of white flowers, fruits with white pulp such as peach or apple
Mouth : A lively, fresh wine with a pleasant minerality, versatile for all occasions.
