Merlot

Merlot, the world-famous red grape variety, is thought to have come to the Valais from the vineyards of Bordeaux. Here, it has found a warm, dry climate, ideal for developing its aromas and powerful structure.

Traditional vinification in vats and also in wooden casks

Bordeaux red colour.
A nose of ivy and leather, with hints of black fruit.
Full-bodied and generous on the palate.
Serving temperature: 12-16°.

A wine for laying down, it goes well with red meats, game and strong cheeses.
