Merlot

Merlot, the world-famous red grape variety, is thought to have come to the Valais from the vineyards of Bordeaux. Here, it has found a warm, dry climate, ideal for developing its aromas and powerful structure.

Traditional vinification in vats

Dark red colour.
Ripe fruit and undergrowth aromas.
Full-bodied and generous on the palate, with ripe fruit.
Serving temperature: 13-15°.

A wine for laying down, it goes well with red meats, game and strong cheeses.
