The Valais is the beating heart of Swiss wine. And among its many riches are the grape varieties that tell a story, an identity, an art of living. At Renaissance Vins, we work with passion to ensure that they express their full personality - and that they simply delight your taste buds.
🍷 Fendant the must-have
This is the white king of the Valais. Fresh, mineral, thirst-quenching, the Fendant (also known as Chasselas) is perfect as an aperitif, with raclette or fondue. In our region, we vinify it with finesse, to produce a dry, elegant wine that is always a hit.
🍷 Gamay Fruity and fresh
Often underestimated, the Gamay Valaisan is a nugget. Light and crisp, with aromas of cherry and red berries, it goes just as well with a platter as with a spicier dish. Ours? It simply bursts on the palate.
🍷 Heida the treasure of the heights
Also known as Pagan, Heida grows in the heights of the Valais and produces powerful, sometimes almost exotic white wines. It appeals to connoisseurs and the curious alike. At Renaissance, we've turned it into a cuvée of character, which won a gold medal at the Vinalies Internationales 2025 French competition (and we're proud of that!).
✨ And that's just for starters....
The Valais has a wealth of other grape varieties that deserve a closer look: Petite Arvine, Humagne, Cornalin, Malvoisie... all names that sound like an invitation to discover.
👉 Our aim? To help you (re)discover these treasures, with wines that are accessible, authentic and full of life.
