In Valais, Savagnin blanc is known as heida or païen. It is also found in the French Jura, where it is used to make yellow wines. It also exists in Alsace under the name of traminer. In France, its presence has been confirmed since the 16th century, but it seems to have been present long before that.

Traditional vinification in vats with stirring of the lees

Delicate, straw-yellow colour.
Citrus aromas with hints of lemon peel and blackcurrant.
The palate has an invigorating structure, dominated by a hint of lemon.
Serving temperature: 8-10°.

A perfect accompaniment to fish, oysters or white meat.
